Sacred Fire: A Zenith Of Bio-Culture In Boom!
A stage based on the assumptions of self-sustainable communities: that’s the Sacred Fire!
The Sacred Fire was one of the highlights of Boom 2006. A beautiful area on the top of one hill, with gardens and world music was a delightful experience to present to all Boom participants. Since its very beginning the area has been developed together with enthusiasts that live in self-sustainable communities in the Iberian Peninsula. Their knowledge has been channelled to Boom through Sacred Fire.
Now in 2008 the Sacred Fire has expanded. The bioconstruction ethos is present all over the place and the gardens have expanded with more biodiversity. There are performances and happenings every day. A Healing Area is being constructed so that everybody can have an experience of relaxations and wellbeing. World music is its main core: expect to hear music from Africa, Balkans, folk, Europe, Asia and Latin America by dozens of amazing bands.
The general atmosphere is roots. The idea is to connect us with the powers of the Earth, reconnecting us with the magic of the planet and the mystery of fire as a symbolic presence. With art and Earthly-oriented knowledge the Sacred Fire will be one of the most delightful places in Boom 2008.
