In this presentation, Jamie Janover will take you on a journey through humanity’s evolution, exposing the changes necessary to produce a Unified Physics; a unification of not only the forces of nature, but also evolution and the occurrence of consciousness.
Below are links to Nassim’s website and related media. Come experience a set of information that has the ability to really be life-changing when you land that YOU actually ARE an infinite being… and how you connect to everything… literally.
A scholar of mythology, star lore, religious and spiritual belief-systems, and ancient wisdom. Through a lifetime of exploring human potential, experimental mysticism, altered states, etc, John has come to see that sexuality and shamanism can be combined for an optimal of spiritual practice now and in the future.
Planetary Tantra – which also might be called Gaian ecosorcery – represents the summit of his lifelong work in comparative mythology and completes a rare vision of the Divine Feminine embodied in the earth, Gaia-Sophia. The Shakti Cluster is a spiritual archetype comparable to the Kabalistic Tree of Life, with similar cosmological features and interactive properties. John is convinced that its discovery can play a decisive role in the planetary shift leading to the close of the present world cycle in 2216 CE.
The Path of Planetary Tantra – Inspiration for the Tribes of Kali in the Dark Time of Innocence. With this presentation John proposes a new approach to tantra as sacred sexuality ritually connected to the earth for the expression of Shakti, the Divine Feminine (Goddess).
Orientation and guidelines, followed by specific techniques and information about grounding into the biophysics of the earth, full-body kundalini and the “Tantric Tree of Life,” (Shakti Cluster).
THEME: WHY BAD SOUND QUALITY IS DISRESPECTFUL TO OUR DIVINE NATURE
Bio
A highly regarded designer and manufacturer of high quality point source loudspeaker systems, with numerous patents to his name, Tony Andrews’ landmark developments include the hugely successful Flashlight and Floodlight systems, and more recently the distinctive Funktion One Resolution Series.
Dropping out of a Geology Degree at The University of London in 1969 to roadie for Piblokto, Tony Andrews soon realised that P.A. sound quality was a long way short of his homebuilt hifi. So began his 40 year career in loudspeaker development. Within 7 years he was applying for his first loudspeaker enclosure patent and has subsequently been granted patents on at least 8 loudspeaker related innovations.
The focus of his work has been on horn loading techniques for both bass and mid range, motivated by the pursuit of efficiency and coherency. His mid high waveguide designs have proved an innovative and very low distortion alternative to the ubiquitous compression driver and the amount of well defined bass he can achieve from a small horn loaded enclosure is legendary.
Tony’s designs have received many awards and in 2007 he was personally recognised by the Professional Lighting and Sound Association when he received the Gottelier Award in recognition of his pioneering work spanning three decades which, it was stated, had contributed significantly to advancing people’s enjoyment of live music and added to the industry’s deeper understanding of loudspeaker design.
At the Liminal Zone…
Tony is discussing “Why bad sound quality is disrespectful to our divine nature”. People in general and DJs in particular, get ready to hear it from the top: why high quality sound is important and how to achieve it. A Q&A session follows this talk!
THEME: THE TRANCE FORMING LAB – AN INTERACTIVE TALK
Bio
Homaya Amar is an Architect, a master teacher&healer and light worker. She has been next to and trained by Spiritual Teachers, Master, Healers, Miracles Workers and Shamans from various traditions and lands around the world. She has been initiated into a Curanderos lineage of Mexican healers.
She is constantly searching, researching, creating, listening and expressing the universe as vibrations that appear through sound, geometry and colours – the interface manifestation of the whole.
At the Liminal Zone…
What we call reality is the way our nerve system translates the vibrations of all that surrounds us, the pulses expressed from the divinity. We receive it as colours, shapes and sounds. Together it creates multidimensional visions appearing to us in space and time.
Trance states of mind are being used by master light workers in rituals and ceremonies as gates for communication between the different dimensions and for exchanging/transforming of energy.
Each moment is a trance state – colours and sacred geometry, numbers and dimensions are used by us, human beings, as a re-Source in co-creating our reality.
“The Trance-Forming Lab” is an awakening talk – a look at life as a constant change, an everlasting, infinite evolution. The talk is nurtured by the wisdom and light of various traditions: the kabala, shamanism, the schools of Plato, Pythagoras and more…

At the same time he has been managing Green Cork (www.greencork.org), a program to recycle cork stoppers, using the profits for reforesting Portugal with native species.
More recently, he has been studying Transition Towns and Permaculture and is gradually applying their concepts to “be the change he wants to see in the world” and to prepare for what he calls ecomorphosis, the eminent revolution that will again turn people towards their community, making them respect nature, be resilient and sustainable, produce local foods, be more independent from governments and industries, have more leisure time and be more available and willing to take care of other people and the environment.
At the Liminal Zone…
Water circulates indefinitely throughout the planet and connects all living beings. The same water that yesterday circulated through a dinossaur, now crosses your body and tomorrow someone or something else’s. So, hydrosphere is a common part of this giant condominium we call Earth. It’s time to organize the planet’s neighborhood – the Earth Condominium, and start managing water sustainably and equitably thus solving water issues like scarcity and pollution. To accomplish this, Ricardo Marques from Portuguese environmental NGO Quercus evokes political and material actions, permaculture and exciting new ideas.

He talks on the concept of altered states of consciousness, their therapeutic uses and the positive effects that accessing these states may have.
THEME BOOM VS ELEUSIS – ECSTATIC EXPERIENCES THROUGH THE AGES
Bio
Chiara Baldini is an independent researcher from Italy, focusing on the historical and mythological roots of psytrance parties. She participated in Boom 2008 as part of a discussion panel at the Liminal Village called “What is Trance?” She writes for the Boom Festival website and is one of the contributors to the collection “Psytrance: global scenes and local culture”, to be published by Routledge later this year.
At the Liminal Zone…
Can the most sacred and mind-blowing ritual of ancient Greece provide the cultural background for an electronic music festival of the 21st century such as Boom Festival? And could a psytrance party shed light on the unfolding of the most mysterious celebration in western history?
These questions will stimulate a presentation about the “Cult of Ecstasy” and a (brief!) overview of its evolution in Western culture in the past 5000 years, explaining why psytrance parties can be seen as a modern form of the ancient cult. Zooming in to the Mysteries of Eleusis of Hellenistic Greece, an impressive comparison is drawn with Boom Festival. In a closing discussion on the psychological aspects of altered states of consciousness, members of the audience are invited to share their personal experiences…
This discussion provides a cultural background for those experimenting with altered states of consciousness and an opportunity for increasing awareness about the potential of such experiences and their integration into everyday life by looking at what trancers have been doing for 5000 years to this day…
THEME: FREE CULTURAL SPACES – FROM CHRISTIANIA, ROIGOORD AND DOEL TO BOOM FESTIVAL

Adventurer, Journalist, author, photographer and art-car builder. Author of Tryptamine Palace, 5-MeO-DMT and the Sonoran Desert Toad. A Journey from Burning Man to the Akashic Field (Park Street Press).
At the Liminal Zone…
How is it possible that a scientific-rationalist atheist be converted to a spiritual viewpoint by a single psychedelic experience? Author James Oroc (Tryptamine Palace) examines the 21st century entheogenic movement as a modern experiential mystical tradition and discusses the role of the transpersonal experience in our Society’s uncertain future. He also presents his radical hypothesis for a model for the mystical-psychedelic experience that incorporates a quantum model for consciousness, the phenomenon of extreme coherence (Bose-Einstein Condensates) in the neural tissue of the brain, and the existence of the zero-point field, a recently scientific discovered holographic realm of information and energy that promises to radically change our definition of reality in the century to come.
A fresh look at the spiritual use of entheogens and the right of the individual to pursue the mystical experience.
THEME: INTRODUCTORY TALK TO “THE THIRD POLE” (PARADIGMS FILMS)
Bio
Kartikey Shiva grew up in Delhi, Dehradun and Rishi Valley School in India. He is a graduate of Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon, where he ploughed through an eclectic range of courses. He completed a two-year programme at the New England School of Photography in Boston, Massachusetts in 2005, and has been working as a professional photographer in Mumbai ever since. His work spans fashion, interiors, advertising, portaits, art and installation projects, live entertainment footage, documentary journalism and music video. He is also responsible for actively documenting the organic food and farming culture of Navdanya, a leading environmental organisation. In 2009, he produced The Third Pole a documentary on climate change in Ladakh.
At the Liminal Zone…
Kartikey introduces the film “The Third Pole”. In June 2006, flash floods destroyed several homes and farmland in the cold desert region of Ladakh, in India. Three years later the villagers are still struggling to rebuild their lives. They have been told that the erratic changes in the climate – unexpected flooding, warmer temperatures and receding water supply from the glacial melt of the Himalayas – are due to global warming, but they do not fully understand what that means. And if it is such a large problem, why is nothing being done about it?
THEME: BIO-PSYCHOLOGY: BEYOND THE PERIPHERY OF THE MIND
Bio
Dada has been a monk for 23 yrs. He teaches the science of spiritual awakening and personal transformation and contributes towards building a just and harmonious society for all (the plants the animals, the insects, all of creation, humans).
He is a marine engineer, a social service worker and co-ordinator of disaster relief operations around the world with International NGO’s. Recently he was in Haiti during the earthquake for 4 weeks as initial support team operational manager. He is also a vegetarian chef and nutritional advisor for spiritual development.
He believes that to find real peace within we have to serve the rest of creation with an open heart and mind. We have to go beyond the periphery of mind.
At the Liminal Zone…
Thoughts create reality. The story you tell yourself becomes reality.
Dada will lead an interactive and dynamic talk focusing on how the ancient science of Yoga psychology shows us how conscious awareness influences every action. Biological awareness is essential in cutting through the boundaries of limitation imposed on us by culture, education, society, family, and self imposition by fears. We all have some form of fear during our lives: fear of rejection, failure, success, fear of love and being loved, fear of being alone and the fear of the unknown. Fear can destroy our psychology, enthusiasm and immobilize us from taking any action.
To move towards a higher consciousness, the primary factor is to UNDERSTAND the mechanics of human body & mind relationship.
When our minds can go beyond the sensory perception and remain calm we can feel peace.
As mind remains still, unruffled by forms, emotions, fear of past and future events, we go further into the unknown and begin to discover realms which have been present but unseen and unknown as cluttering thoughts, forming like a fuzzy a screen, blocking our true inner vision.
As the mind goes deeper into the silence we discover subtler dimensions within.
To go beyond the mind (mental reality) is to discover the true essence of human existence, transform ourselves and share the loving feeling inside with all…
THEME: SACRED GEOMETRY AND UNIVERSAL INTERCONNECTIVITY
Bio
Currently serving as Boom art director, Carey Thompson is here from northern California to share what he has learned through his artistic path about Sacred Geometry and its practical and spiritual applications. Drawn by a passion for understanding the world from a scientific as well as spiritual perspective, Carey developed a technique of using sacred geometry to connect in with the currents of nature’s creativity as a means of transmitting his message of universal interconnectivity. He will be exploring through an exciting series of slides the fundamentals as well as other ways in which we can use sacred geometry to open ourselves to the holographic singularity and directly link in with the universal divine mystery.
At the Liminal Zone…
In this presentation, Carey will describe sacred geometry as a means of awakening to the reality of ourselves, as interconnected, interdependent beings in the holographic web of universal creation.
Carey’s work will be featured at the Inner Visions Gallery and he will also be taking part in the discussion panel “The Evolution and Future of Visionary Art”…

Mati Klarwein was born in Hamburg on the 9th of April 1932, to a Jewish architect father from Polish origins, and a German opera singer mother. The three of them fled to Palestine when he was two years old after the rise of Nazi Germany.
“I am only half German and only half Jewish with an Arab soul and a African heart”.
In 1948, Mati and his mother moved to Paris where he enrolled at the Academie Julien having previously dropped out of school in Israel and been sent at the age of 15 to an Art college in Jerusalem. He later studied with painter Fernand Leger, who introduced him to the art of Salvador Dalí, Buñuel, and the world of surrealism. Later in his life, he befriended Dalí, writing about his bizarre encounters with Salvador’s sexual behaviours in his book “Collected Works 1959-1975”. In Paris, he also met Viennese fantastic realist painter Ernst Fuchs.”Ernst insisted on teaching me his mixed technique of Van Eyck and the Flemish school. I learned it in one week and sold every one of my paintings ever since.”
With Paris as his base, Mati spent long periods of time travelling, painting portraits during summers in Saint Tropez and, together with his father, who had recently won the competition to build Israel’s Parliament, the Kneset, he started to build a house in the small village of Deia, Majorca, having fallen in love with this place during a short visit, invited by archeologist Bill Waldren. In Deia he also became good friends with the poet Robert Graves, who was followed by many other artists who settled in this small community.
Klarwein moved to New York in 1965. By then his work was considered to be inspired by surrealism and the so-called psychedelic movement of the time. However, it was more his extensive travelling and wide interests of non-Western deities and symbolism that inspired his art more than the use of psychedelic drugs. His friend Timothy Leary once stated, that judging the character of his paintings, “Mati didn’t need psychedelics!” During his New York years he created paintings such as Bitches Brew, commissioned by Miles Davis for his landmark album of the same title. He also completed many portraits of people such as John F. Kennedy, his friend Jimmy Hendrix and other important characters of the time, and finished his large scale project, The Aleph Sanctuary, a cubic temple of all religions, featuring 68 paintings, representing some Biblical passages such as “Anunciation” (1961) (later used by Santana for the cover of his best selling album, Abraxas), “Crucifixion” (1963-1965) represented by a highly sexual tree of life which caused quite a turmoil within the puritan white establishment as well as with the black panthers, “Nativity”(1962), “Grain of Sand” (1963-1965), and many other of Mati’s best known paintings.
Mati died on the 7th of March of 2002 in his home in Majorca.

Mati’s daughter Serafine invites you all to dive deep into the vital inscapes of her father’s artwork, technique and experimental philosophies.

Adam introduces the artist’s methods of perceiving energies and the scientific background on understanding the energetic ecology of the universe.
THEME: THE HOLOGRAPHIC HUMAN BODY: A QUANTIC TRANSDUCER
Bio
Cândida Loureiro is a sensitive observer, down to earth utopist peace believer. Thinker of the unlikely. Trained as an engineer, she acknowledges Life as a radiance of pure Love.
At the Liminal Zone…
Cândida Loureiro will talk about challenging the paradigm of the Human Body and how to turn a socially built in limited system into a consciously aware self healing system.
A trip through the building blocks that express the universal inteligence as information, energy and matter. How they relate to each other and translate this intelligence into recognizable balanced, harmonious features such as galaxies, planets, stars, minerals, biological organisms.
To understand this change of paradigm, concepts like fractal organization forms, attractor fields, entwined dimensions and quantic information levels, the holographic human body, DNA as a bio-resonance transducer, bio-photons, bioelectricity and biochemistry as translators of inner realities are introduced, combining large with very small scale analysis, broadening the horizon of observation of the proposed subject.
Can what we call reality be changed by changing the quality, clarity and signal intensity of the base information within the systems? And how do energy and matter react to this change?
Hans Plomp was born in Amsterdam in 1944. Author of 25 books, (time) traveller, performing poet and founder of the permanent autonomous zone Ruigoord (NL). THEME: FESTIVAL TECHNOLOGY – DESIGNS FOR CATASTROPHE RELIEF
Bio
Andre Jaeger Soares is a Permaculture Designer/Teacher and natural builder for 20 years, with experiences in Australia, Brazil, Haiti and many other countries. Has received several awards for the Social Technologies developed to support populations in distress.
He is the founder and Director of Ecocentro IPEC, in Brazil, responsible for the journey towards sustainability at Boom Festival.
At the Liminal Zone…
Natural or unnatural disasters are part of the human experience.
History is full of records related to great catastrophes. From volcano eruptions to earthquakes, tsunamis, floods and draughts.
When disaster strikes near large human populations our systems tend to collapse and the picture is not nice.
Famine and disease from lack of sanitation are only a few of the dangers people expect if they are survivors of a disaster.
Most international support workers that work in disaster affected areas report that they had no experience before and many had no idea of the challenges they would face until they get there.
Large festivals present an opportunity, second only to the real scenario, to develop and test technologies that respond to the emergency needs of food, water, shelter, energy, sanitation and health.
This presentation will focus on the very real situation of catastrophes and the technologies used in festivals as possible answers to fast response.

GUEST SPEAKER JOHN LASH
THEME: PLANETARY TANTRA AND THE END OF KALI YUGA
Bio

GUEST SPEAKER TONY ANDREWS

Tony is discussing “Why bad sound quality is disrespectful to our divine nature”. People in general and DJs in particular, get ready to hear it from the top: why high quality sound is important and how to achieve it. A Q&A session follows this talk!

Bio

GUEST SPEAKER SERAFINE
THEME: THE LIFE AND ART OF MATI KLARWEIN
Bio
