Emergency Medical Services (EMS) is a specially organized system that provides personnel, facilities and equipment for the effective and coordinated delivery of emergency medical services within a geographical area. An effective EMS system involves many different agencies (local and district fire fighters companies) and organizations (guarda civil) working together to provide rapid emergency medical response, treatment, stabilization and transport to those in need of immediate medical attention.
What purpose does Boom Festivals EMS serve?
The EMS service at Boom is a first aid service for all Boomers to feel safe. Boom Festival’s Emergency Medical Services (abbreviated “EMS”) Department provides pre-hospital treatment to those in need of urgent medical care or non-urgent first aid for the safety and well being wished to all Boomers.
Where is the EMS Base of Operations and staff to be found?
EMSs Base of Operations and some staff along side the Firefighters and nurses in a Centralized area comprising a field hospital, Paramedic rescue vehicles, ambulances and means for water rescue. Other EMS staff can be found spread out and well visible on site
