We are showing that energy does not need to be faced as a problem in the future.

Boom gathers more than 20,000 people which means a lot of energy. Sound systems, lights, performances, transport, construction, everything needs energy. For most of the modern western world, energy means burning some form of fossil fuel. Not for us.

In 2008 we used generators powered by used vegetable oil. We used 45,000 litres of waste vegetable oil, avoiding the emission of 117,000 kg of CO2 into the atmosphere. This way we had huge amounts of watts contributing to the production of sustainable resources. In 2010 we are continuing to generate more energy from waste vegetable oil.

In paralell we are using photovoltaic panels and windmills, using both the sun and the wind to help more then 20,000 have fun on the Sacred Earth.
