We treat all water in Boom by returning it to nature, just as clean as we received it.

Boom has taken responsibility for its own ecological footprint. We take responsibility and don’t leave a wasteland behind for our children. In 2010 we are fast-forwarding once again to show how we can free our minds while we clean all the water we use.

All the water used by the restaurants, bars, showers and any other facility will be recycled on site by a biological treatment system. Plants will do the work of cleaning and the micro-life will perfect it. All boomers can help by saving on the quantities of water they use.

In 2008 no water from the showers was thrown away. Our system for treating the waters from the showers consisted on both evaporation and aquatic plants. In the first stage, 200,000 liters of water evaporated feeding the natural cycle of water. 1,200,000 liters of water are still in a lake for treatment based on aquatic plants. The plants used were eichordia sp, azolla sp, lemna sp and typha sp.

The technologies will be on display everywhere. Don’t drink this water! Just appreciate that Sacred Earth is doing what she does best: closing the cycles of life!
