The 8th edition of Boom Festival is in a new location. It is held in the lake of Idanha-a-Nova but in a new venue full of shade, which is flatter, greener, and has better access routes. This change was motivated by the need for offering our public better conditions to party. Under the theme of Water, we are expanding our minds to feel the hidden dimensions of nature in a new venue.[+]

Our Ambassadors network started back in 1997 in 6 countries. In 2010 Boom became global and we have representatives in every continent.[+]
After Brazil in 2002, South Africa (2004), India (2006), and Macedonia (aka FYROM) in 2008, Chile is our invited country for the 8th edition of Boom Festival.[+]

Due to external circumstances we were obliged to postpone the official launch of Boom tickets for a few days.
We adopted the PayPal system in 2006 because it offered the best conditions for our public to purchase tickets online in a safe and comfortable way.
Four days before the official launch of Boom 2010 ticket sales PayPal informed us that we could no longer use their online ticketing system in the same way as before. Boom as an independent festival cannot agree with the new contractual conditions regarding fees and fund retention.[+]
