Boom Festival 2010 is limited to 26,000 people. We took this decision to avoid overcrowding, keep the empathy between people and because we don’t want to become a mainstream festival. The Boom tickets stages will run in sync with the New Moon.

Tickets will be sold in three phases, like in past editions. You’ll be able to buy your ticket online or at our ambassadors. Ambassadors are special people, shops or organizations spread around the world. They are chosen to represent, inform and link you to the Boom dimension.

Boom Festival uses the safest system on the Internet for ticket purchasing. Any extra fees are not under the control of Boom Festival and are exclusively for transaction purposes.

1st Phase – 30th November until 15th December (extended until 30th December!) – 6.000 limited tickets/online only

Boom Festival ticket – 125€ + 5€ fees = 130€

Boom Festival + After Boom – 125€ + 30€ + 5€ fees = 160€

2nd Phase – 16th December (postponed until 31st December!) until 13th March – 8.500 limited tickets

Boom Festival ticket – 150€ + 5€ fees = 155€

Boom Festival + After Boom – 150€ + 35€ + 6€ fees = 191€

3rd Phase – 14th March until 31st July – 8.500 limited tickets

Note(1): At Boom the camping, caravan parking, drinking water, toilets, showers, communitarian kitchen are all free of charge.
Note(2): As a matter of curiosity: for a ticket of 125€ the average daily price for Boom would be 15,6€; for 150€ the average daily price would be 18,75€; and if we consider the 3rd phase ticket each day would be priced at 21,08 €.

Economic Developing Countries

Taking into consideration the economic realities existing around the globe we have a different price range for the Boom 2010 tickets.

Economic Developing Countries list:

All countries except the ones mentioned above (USA, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, Japan, Israel and European Union countries).

The price of the ticket is considerably cheaper. These tickets can only be bought at the Ambassadors in each country. Not available Online. All those, who purchase one of these tickets, need to present the passport at the gates.

BOOM BUS RESERVATION – Exclusively for people who bought the Boom Festival Ticket through a Boom Ambassador.
If you purchase your Boom Festival ticket at your local Boom Ambassador, you should reserve your Boom Bus ticket. Please tell the Ambassador from where you want to depart: Lisbon or Madrid Airport. This booking is only for the connection between the airport and the festival. Return trips from Boom to the airport and/or connections from Boom to After Boom can only be purchased inside the festival.

Free Boom Ticket Country – Republic of Chile

Maintaining Boom’s tradition of offering free entries to the residents of one of the several economic developing countries, we announce Republic of Chile as our guest country for Boom 2010.

In the past this same offer as been granted to the following countries:

Boom 2002 – Brazil

Boom 2004 – South Africa

Boom 2006 – India

Boom 2008 – Republic of Macedonia (aka FYROM)

Any Chilean citizen who wants to come to the festival must contact the local ambassador in order to send him the follow personal details: Name, Surname and Passport number.

Upon arrival to the Boom Gates you will be asked to present your Chilean passport and flight ticket as proof of authenticity.

General Notices & Conditions

- Some Boom Ambassadors around the globe will probably add their booking fees / charges.

- Age requirement:

Children 12 years old and under do not pay ticket.

Children 13 years and older must have a ticket.

- All tickets will be for the full length of the Boom Festival. One-day passes will not be available on pre-sale.

- After Boom tickets will be sold only online.

- Tickets are limited to 26.000 people.

- Boom Bus is sold only together with Boom Festival Ticket. People using this transport will get inside the festival one day before the rest of the public, on the 17th August.
