IT’S DAY 4! Day four and we’re deep into the Boom vibe now… There are about 28,000 people on site, including volunteers, workers and artists. The communal family vibe is everywhere yet are strong at Sacred Fire and Healing Areas where you distinctly feel the energy levels change the minute you enter these spaces. Romio Shreshtha is at the Liminal Village right now: the 17th century Buddhist incarnation is speaking about reaching enlightenment through art and of his personal experiences as a young man yearning to be free from the shackles of cultural conditioning. Meanwhile over at the Ambient Source, Brujo’s Bowl is on the stage as Two Fold kick in some dub-step at the Alchemy Circle. Boom by night is an adventure for the senses as the landscape transforms when illuminated by incredible video mapping, lights and visuals. The lasers of the Dance Temple are penetrating the black sky and the moon is glowing like a huge cosmic shimmering white disk that will soon be full – providing us with the Shakti we all need to project ourselves into the future.
