To know oneself is to know the world around us. To find oneself with the mirror of the infinite learning that is to find oneself. It is in the path of the heart where the discovery begins, the inner work, the necessary evolution and this is how we walk forward in the awakening of consciousness.
The Temazcali (Zumpul-ché) is a sacred sweat lodge that represents the womb of mother earth. It is the temple of the origin of our existence. It is the womb that nurtures the recognizing of ourself in our personal process and that of the world.
The womb receives us again in the round, feminine, loving and timeless space, again in a fetal position, returning to the origin of our mother, connecting with the Great Mystery.
The stones are activated by the Sacred fire. They are the seeds of consciousness and wisdom. In them, the ancient spirits of the earth are in-voked as they enter the womb. They are bathed with a tea of medicinal herbs generating the vapor that will make us sweat. This is when the healing through purification starts.
The four elements are united: Earth, Fire, Water and Air. They are the medicine and the vice of the Great Spirit transmitted in the chanting, in the sacred words and in the silence.
The Temazcali is the house of everyone. It is the medicine that our ancestors have left us to reconnect. Rediscovering the vision of our own medicine, connecting us to our heart.
It is an offer to reconcile.

She is the guardian of the FUEGO DE LAS MUJERES. She is a member of the MUJERES EN PIE DE PAZ movement.
KELVARA
She was born in 1981 in Mexico in Veracruz, a land of strong traditions and history.
The Temazcalli arrived early in her life when she began to develop it and to understand it deeply. All her life she has brought together shamanic healing and different artistic therapies creating her very own way of transmitting the purpose of the Temazcalli.
Her purpose is to help and work with the collective for a common well being, taking the responsibility of what it entails. Therapy work is very vast and complex and for Kelvara it is absolutely crucial to respect the process of each person that participates in the ceremonies. She is very clear that each one of us carries his own medicine although most of the times unconscious.
Her work in the Temazcalli is to perceive, listen, heal, guide each participant to himself.
Kelvara has been guiding Temazcalli ceremonies, personal cleanses, , workshops and vision quests for 15 years in different countries of Latin America like México, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Colombia, Costa Rica, Belize and Panamá. In Europe, she has worked in Spain, Austria, Germany, Ireland, Greece, France and Portugal. In Africa she has worked in Morroco, Senegal and Alger.
