Alchemy of sound with OMEGA

This workshop was designed to feel the sacred power of sound as an ancestral medicine and a transmutation emotional tool.
In 2006, OMEGA in order to explore new musical horizons and sounds, open to offer listeners a journey of inward expansion.
After a few years of different experiences, Rui Martins and Cláudia Duarte, joined together to create an innovative project in which the Asian influence is widely noticeable.
It is characterized as “world music” and “sound healing” project, seeking the creation of a bridge to a world of unexplored nature. The audience is invited to sit or lie down comfortably and; through continuous sound, a meditative sound journey develops, which leads to a deep relaxation and meditative state.
In this workshop we share knowledge in the sound area, more precisely the “sound healing”, we conduct each being to a meditation sound journey and create a journey filled with sound, color and magic, a wonderful musical alchemy of sharing, where everyone can play and sing actively.
This journey through the universe of meditative sounds is conducted by world instruments such as: Tibetan Bowls, Ghuzeng (Chinese Harp), Sitar , Vibraphone, Harmonium and Sruti Box , Khim (Thai Instrument) ,Tampura and Swarmandal among many others.

Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga with Natalia Bogdalikoda

The term vinyāsa refers to the alignment of movement and breath, a method which turns static asanas into a dynamic flow. The length of one inhalation or one exhalation dictates the length of time spent transitioning between asanas. Asanas are then held for a predefined number of breaths. In effect, attention is placed on the breath and the journey between the asanas rather than solely on achieving perfect body alignment in an asana, as is emphasized in Hatha yoga.
The term vinyasa also refers to a specific series of movements that are frequently done between each asana in a series.

Vinyasa ashtanga is a joyful, flowing yoga class focused on the exercise and aeration of the entire body in a dynamic style with a character similar to ashtanga vinyasa yoga, but with many variations of different asanas (postures). You are gradually working on the opening of individual body parts and the development of individual asanas. Ujjai pranayama and bandhas are used, similarly to the ashtanga vinyasa yoga sequences, due to their amazing curative and therapeutic effect, which is undoubtedly the best for the body, mind and soul.

ASTROLOGY ALIVE with Brisa Ferrante

“At some time in our lives we all need to get up and dance who we are…”

What is Experiential Astrology?
Live Astrology or Experiential Astrology is an approach to Astrology through movement. To discover the energies of life through one´s own experience, to feel the planetary movements in one´s own body and take part in a profound exercise of self awareness.

The twelve signs of the zodiac are 12 possibilities, 12 tools for living.
Live Astrology unblocks these energies so that they can all flow inside us allowing us to develop better resources for living and a more complete existence.

How?
We´ll do exercises in pairs, groups of three and bigger groups, giving ourselves the opportunity to connect with a particular energy through movement and contact or to release the body’s blockages in using a particular energy/resource.
Sometimes it´s required to activate our breathing, other times are for relaxing our breath, sometimes what we need is to pay attention to balances, other times, to rhythm and melody…

Both disciplines have been with humanity for milennia…
Dance: as expression from men and women to the gods…
Astrology: as expression from the gods (planets) to people…

BRISA FERRANTE

My first awakening took place in the world of art and emotions. I studied Theater, Music (instrument), Body Expression as developed by Patricia Stokoe and Dance Therapy as developed by Maria Fux.
Different courses and practices awakened my “creative being”. This was the moment of creativity, crazyness and new paths…

Later in a small village in Patagonia, Argentina where I had moved to work with my theater group I discovered Carlos Castaneda´s Shamanism, an anthropologist with an ancestry connected to shamans of ancient Mexico that practiced “lucid dreaming” and the practice of Magical Passes, movements found while dreaming that have the power of taking one to an INCREASED state of CONSCIOUSNESS. I followed my path there for 15 years; Shamanism also connected me with the understanding of RETURNING TO THE ORIGINS TO SEE MORE OF ONE´S SELF.

It was when I found “The 5 Rhythm Dance, the extatic dance of Gabrielle Roth” that my artistic and healing paths began to converge…

And with the theoretic base of Astrology (Escuela Casa Once de Eugenio Carutti) anthropologist and astrologer, I´m developing this space for creativity-astrology-healing-origins.

BIODANZA with Cristiano Martins and Irene Franco and José Neves

Biodanza means Dance of Life. It is a system that integrates music, movement and authentic relating to create experiences of intense awareness of being alive in the here-and-now. These experiences are known as vivências.http://www.biodanza.us/vivencias.htmlhttp://www.biodanza.us/vivencias.html
Vivencias are portals that allow access to primal emotions and help the most natural expression of one’s true self emerge through movement. Vivencias follow the organic movements of life—its biological rhythms, the heart beat, and the impulse to connect with others.
Biodanza is a system that follows the natural rhythms and wisdom of life. The prefix “Bio” derives from the Greek “Bios,” meaning “life.” “Danza” originally signifies “integrated movement full of intention”.
Based on anthropological studies of dance and traditional rituals of the celebration of life, Biodanza stimulates community, awakens a consciousness for universal solidarity, helps participants to recover their joy and vitality, and celebrates the sacredness of life.
Biodanza helps people to connect with their inner passion, their creativity, their feelings, their ability to tune with their own rhythm, with the rhythms of others, and with the rhythm of the Whole.
We call this cosmic dance, the alchemical process of being who we are.

It harmonizes the body, mind and soul with the rhythm of creation so as to open the portal of peace.

It aligns the mind with the heart and relates to the prophetic union of the Eagle and the Condor.
Awakens the memory of Unity and resonates with the last prophecy of the Hopis which is the union of the 4 directions.

HATHA YOGA with Filippo Fabri

Hatha Yoga uses postures (asanas) and stretches in combination with the breath to develop flexibility and relaxation. Hatha Yoga encourages proper alignment of the body and brings balance, strength, and calmness to the practitioner. My Hatha Yoga classes are based on the classic and ancient practices with attention to alignment and the deeper layers of yoga. Gentle – Slower movements with focus on breathing, relaxation and gentle stretching. In this class is included a short practice of Partner Yoga:
Here we explore physical and mental boundaries that we cannot reach in our own practice alone. With a partner, we can practice yoga with less weight on the ground, or provide a stronger foundation for our partner’s postures.
If you have never practiced yoga, will you feel out of place? Answer: NO! This class is about fun and connection, with no previous experience required.

FILIPPO FABRI

At the age of 22 Filippo journeyed to India to learn the art of Yoga in all its forms – Hatha Yoga, Pranayama, Yoga Nidra, Raja Yoga, Karma Yoga, Tantra Yoga. Now, at 38 he is still in India where he runs a school of Yoga and Massage named “Breathe Life”, at Varkala Beach in Kerala, South India.
For 2 years Filippo followed the Bihar School of Yoga, first with the teacher Sarvarth then Surinder and Krishna, where he was introduced to a Yoga lifestyle. His interest in this grew to the point that he chose to settle in India for further studies. Filippo lived in Srivedniketan Ashram in Swargashram (a small village outside Rishikesh) for 8 years, where he practiced with Sri Guruji, a man who dedicated his entire life to Yoga, living to the age of 104.
Filippo attended courses at Iyengar Yoga School for 3 years with the teacher Pankaj and was declared a master in 2006. Each year he spends a few months in Thailand and Japan where he studied massage at different schools. Filippo also worked in a massage center in Chiang Mai in Thailand and in Zao (a village in the mountains of Japan). He is a recognized teacher in Nuad Borarn Thai yoga massage and Reflexology which he practices in Varkala, organizing courses, offering treatments and teaching yoga everyday. Healing Concert with High Frequency Bells with Mark Pulido

Concert with Bilas – Flat Bells of High Frequency Vibration

In this concert, the sound of these very special bells, the Bilas, will take you on a journey through a wide range of harmonics and vibrations.
It works by stimulating the correct frequency on different parts of the body: physical, emotional, mentally and spiritually.
The Bilas, is a new instrument created in 1988 in Russia. It has a very prolonged sound and a wide range of harmonics and vibrations incomparable with any other existing instrument.
Its form is very simple but its sound is similar to the sound of the universe and is highly healing.
We will use a special device, named Alfalum, that makes light pulse and turn on the third eye, mobilizing and activating the rotation of the chakras. Fixed observation on this point of the light stimulates and balances the chakras and generates an extra brain potency, preparing for a better reception of all the effects of the sound vibrations, amplifying all of the effects of the Bilas.
Each one of these flat bells is manufactured so that it holds four, five and six different sounds, harmoniously intertwined. The biggest Bilas emit infrasound and ultrasound which are below our threshold of hearing and vibration.
On the physical level, when the body receives the sound waves, the frequencies resonate and recharge the energy of the cells, the sound vibrations activate the nervous system, all of the organs and every atom of the body. The sounds vibrate in patterns, creating energy fields with resonance and movement, which alter and mobilize internal rhythms by increasing the activity of the immune system,
strengthening the resonance of the healthy organs. The sonic frequencies of the Bilas can
affect, stimulate, activate and awaken the brain waves typical of
relaxation, deep inner peace and meditation. These waves are called Alpha waves, THETA waves, Delta waves.

MARK PULIDO

At the age of nineteen and after suffering a very serious car accident where he nearly died, he felt in his body the healing effects of the didgeridoo. This opened his interest in the healing properties of sound and sent him on a voyage searching for these healing instruments worldwide.

In 2008 his quest led him to India where he lived for 8 months and where he first heard the sound of Bilas, the high frequency flat bells. The experience he had when he first heard the bells was so strong that he decided he would try anything to find the maker of the bells, Alexander Zhikharev.

After two years looking for Alexander, without resources and not speaking Russian, Mark was about to give up when by chance he met a russian woman that connected him to Alexander. Alexander decided he would build the bells for Mark.

INTERACTIVE CONCERT with RODRIGO MAIA

In the Interactive Meditative Concert we will use our voice in simple exercises. Singing with their soul, each being connects with their divine self, projecting to higher frequencies, aligning and balancing the physical, astral and budhic bodies.

The audience will receive the sounds from the didgeridoo, crystal bowls and shamanic drum, harmonies and chanting inducing a deep relaxation, supporting healing and a deep connection with the divine whole, awakening and activating the highest potential in each being.

The sounds are chanelled in vibrational expansion of light and energy portals raising the awareness for connection to the Source.

Working with sound supports us to reduce the levels of stress and anxiety. It balances our emotions and helps us to realize a state of abundance, health and well-being

RODRIGO MAIA

From early there has been a great interest in spirituality and music.

In 2006 I started to play the didgeridoo and this is where my connection between spirit and music began. Didgeridoo takes me on beautiful meditative journeys, its’ ancestral sound connects me to the earth and at the same time connects me to the sky. I started to practice music therapy with the didgeridoo and the impact was great. The crystal bowls and all the other instruments I play came across my path in a magical way. I brought in the most precious of all instruments that we all have, the voice and I started to play meditative concerts.

Today, after hundreds of concerts played to millions of people I have associated my telepathic and sensitive abilities so that in each concert there is a connection with the DIVINE, with HEALING and ASCENSION so that each BEING can access the true ALCHEMY.

It has been a wonderful experience to play for so many people and to watch the effect sound has on people.

“From KALARIPAYATT, the Indian ancestral martial art, to SHAKTI: our self empowerment” with MARIE PEZELET

Through this workshop, I propose to experiment our inner sacred force, the primordial energy, the dynamic forces that are thought to move through the entire universe.

Kalaripayatt is the ancient martial art of Kerala (South India). The rich body language of kalaripayatt is inspired by animal stances.
The animal stances are stylized figures which are used in the combats for both attacking and defending. The body practice helps to develop strength and flexibility, improves the physical and mental balance, and enhances the ability to concentrate. Kalaripayatt: “the body becomes an eye”
Different movements are integrated into choreographies or sham fights (‘meipayats’) that resemble dancing.
The aim of these connected sequences is to move in a continuous flow of energy.

Through KALARIPAYATT, anyone can experiment, very quickly, what is Shakti, as this martial art convenes our essential Energy. The very precise movements, the concentration, the body positions call a deep, inner body Energy. It is not a question of muscular force, but something deeper.
Not only is the Shakti responsible for creation, it is also the agent of all change. Shakti is cosmic existence as well as liberation, its most significant form being the Kundalini Shakti, a mysterious psychospiritual force.
KALARIPAYATT is waking up the practicioner, it operates a transmutation from a domestic body, to an animal body, to a spiritual consciousness

MARIE PEZELET

Marie Pezelet, artistic director and initiator of the Satsangham Indian Dance Company in Marseille (France).

Her work is based on blowing the sacred inner part present in all human being, through physical trainings. How to connect each of us as a drop of water flowing to the ocean of life?
How to be here & now? What is Energy? How to reveal the SHAKTI present in all of us, sleeping in the middle of our body?

She has a strong background in physical theatre working with many teachers like Christina Cibils, Tapa Sudana from Peter Brook Company.
She is a Theater and Liteture graduate form the University of Paris.

Through all her researches, she was seeking “the art of being here & now”, which is the heart of the actor’s work and the art of the human being.

All her work brought her to India: the Indian living arts are all connected to that quality of being: joining body work to spiritual work, consciousness through body & spiritual peace.

In 1999 she went to Kerala (India) and started her studies in Kalaripayatt (Indian martial art) in Kerala for six years, Bharata Natyam (classical dance of South India), and Ashtanga Yoga.

Since 2004, she went back to France to teach these disciplines, perform and creates performances connected with electronic music and contemporary dance and theater.
She is now connected to dance Butoh (Japanese contemporary dance), and circus.

KUNDALINI YOGA with Araygua Muwan

Kundalini Yoga is the technology of human consciousness. The techniques are used for the opening in the Age of Aquarius.
Kundalini Yoga is a science that works on the seven chakras, the line of the arch and the aura. It works directly on the total energy for learning to drive and penetrate any situation to find a balance.
It is a unitive discipline of the power of awareness and potential in each individual. This science sometimes called the snake power and it’s fundamental in the tantric tradition including Hatha yoga. In Eastern symbolism snake represents the essence of the energy and consciousness.

What is Kundalini Yoga?

Your creative potential. The experience when the energy of the glandular system combines with the nervous system so that the entire brain receives signals and integrates them.
The power of Kundalini Yoga lies in the actual experience. It goes right into your heart and expands your consciousness so you can have a broader horizon. Understand your existence in relation to the universe and that will bring practical experience of Infinity.
Kundalini is known as the nerve of the soul. This must be awakened.
“Kundalini Yoga is the perfect science of consciousness and experience”.

KUNDALINI YOGA IS THE YOGA OF AWARENESS

“ Kundalini Yoga is a technology to create energy in your self and supports you to find awareness, consciousness and mind. Is the sleeping snake inside you that is waiting to be awakened”

Laughter Yoga with Jay Woods

“The more I laugh. The more I laugh”

Laughter Yoga in willing groups is one of the best medicines as it’s so hilariously funny.
The concept of Laughter Yoga goes something like this:
Our bodies cannot differentiate between fake and real laughter, and release lots of happy chemicals when we laugh.
These happy chemicals released into our bodies boost our oxygen and energy levels, and also boost blood cells that attack viruses.
Laughter increases Endorphins which are a natural pain killer.
Boosts our immune system and lowers stress poisons in the body by 50% or more in minutes.
Science tells us we will be happier, live longer and have healthier lives if we all laugh more.
The problem is how can we make ourselves laugh??
The obvious answer is to use humour.
But the problem is not all people find the same things funny.
Laughter Yoga solves this problem because it approaches laughter as a body exercise.
It does not rely on humour or mental judgement just a willingness to participate and laugh……….
This I find very quickly manifests into waves of genuine real laughter within any group gathered.

JAY WOODS

Hi, I am a qualified laughter Yoga teacher and also a Laughter Therapist. I have been fascinated for many years in the concepts of raising peoples’ vibrations through the powerful medium of happy laughter. I run seriously infectious Laughter therapy workshops in the community here in Glastonbury UK and at many Events and Festivals Worldwide, organise and run yearly Events for World Laughter day, I also create Jewellery, pendants, and magical wands with an alchemy of semi-precious stones, metal and magic, my favourite combinations being moldavites and lybian gold tecktites. I have recently been walking along the way of St James the ancient pilgrimage Camino de Santiago.

The Mirror and the Dragon’s Breath with SONA

Sona Awakening is an acoustic duo of harp and percussion presenting live improvised music alongside spoken evolutionary meditation techniques from ‘Awakening the Third Eye’ by the Nagual Lujan Matus. Harpist Natalia Mann and percussionist Naomi Jean have been making music together for many years in Australia and Europe. In ‘Sona Awakening’ they create sonic architecture as a space in which listeners are invited to awaken their third eye receptivity, through guided mediations and ambient sound journeys.

In this sound journey we will experience gazing and breathing practices for activating our awareness of unity and our ability to perceive subtle light frequencies, which opens us up to engaging with nature and each other in communion. They raise the vibration of our personal light frequency or ‘photonic energy’, activating our sensitivity to the holographic visual information that becomes available when we are aligned with ourselves and at one with our surroundings.

Quantum Pulse Dance in the Medicine Wheel with Blipcollective

This movement practice workshop offers to give an experience that allows for greater physical understanding so to move, sense and respond as a whole being. Osho puts it nicely, “there is only one freedom, and that freedom is freedom from conditionings, freedom from the mind, becoming alert, aware, attentive, and moving in a new dimension.”
The wheel works within the energy field of the planet (quantum physics). The notion of the wheel is to bring the experience of oneself from different perspectives, and expand understanding of ones strengths and weaknesses. The formula of the wheel means that no part of the human soul gets missed out. Rounding our awareness as we transform our potential. In this shamanic social circle we will create a safe place so we can share our experiences and gain greater understanding. This workshop acknowledges the soul of mother earth, and how our thought patterns and actions have effect.

BLIPCOLLECTIVE

From 2008, during their travels, Blipcollective has led workshops, created dance for film and shared their performances in a range of events. They are now setting up a retreat base in Lower Austria, for dance research and healing events: A platform for teaching, sharing and artistic collaboration.

TRANCE DANCE RITUAL

 with Kalid and Winga

Breath, Let Go, Become the Dance of Life!

What is Trance Dance?

From a single Jaguar shaman calling the spirits of the Amazon, to 500 Ubanda healers dancing outside San Paolo, to 20.000 people trancing in Boom Festival. Trance dancing is a sacred ritual. When approached with that intent it is a powerful catalyst to the holistic you that you seek. There are no steps. We dance exploring our inner landscape absent of external expectations. It is our dance, unique to us.

Trance Dance is a unique blend of healing sound and rhythms, breathing techniques and innovative sensory deprivation that induces a deep inner journey. The end result is a glimpse into mystical worlds, promoting spiritual awakening, mental clarity and emotional healing.

Enter the world of the spirit, voyage beyond time and space; experience the ecstasy of spiritual wholeness. Trance dance as shamans and indigenous peoples have for thousands of years.

This particular trance dance ceremony will be with Live Music!

SAKINA AND SOMA

Truth has many paths that flow as rivers into an ocean. The one Truth carries itself in everything. May I serve as a guide for all who seek Truth.

It is intelligence, supported by direct experience that guides me and lights my way along the Yoga path. I began Yoga at an early age, studied for over 20 years Iyengar Yoga and qualified as a Teacher of this discipline, found my way to the door of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga of Pattabhi Jois and again qualified as a Teacher. I expanded this intelligence by studying and training in Desikachar’s Yoga, Tripsichore Yoga and most importantly Shadow Yoga of Shandor Remete (Natanaga Zhander), I am also qualified as a Teacher of Kundalini Yoga, as taught by Yogi Bhajan.

Soma Yoga is the space that holds all of these paths. The technology of each path may differ slightly in content but the experience available is the same. Soma represents the culmination of everything I have experienced, studied and practiced. Soma Yoga is a cloth woven from many threads and its intention is to open the body and mind to the energetic principles of yoga practice and to cultivate power. Drinking deep of Soma will nourish the seeds of your becoming, seeds held deep within the human form, waiting to unfold for you.

In developing Soma as a practice I encourage students along the direct path to Spirit. Yoga facilitates experience that is universal in nature but which must be discovered and rediscovered by each of us. The technology gives us the thread and the pattern is universal but our woven cloth is personal. Soma Yoga is the practical guide to experience ecstasy and freedom.
