The project was born from Drum & Bass and created Badmood, Plankton, Spam, Rita Maia and Buster. Highly involved in event promotion and frequent showcases featuring emergent d&b talents, it also kept contact with other tendencies such as bass music.
Nsekt got attracted to Dubstep around 2008, and dedicated most of his time and energy to developing this genre. His single 'The Queen' in 2011 marks his first release as Nsekt - as he was previously known as Plaster - and is followed by his collaboration with the duo 12'Blast-U, a remixed album from the band Blasted Mechanism.
'Pika Pika' is his second work and surfaces in 2012 - there, he moves away from his sonic universe to test a more groovy Slo-mo with a tropical touch. Back home, in the world of 140BPMs, Nsekt launches the EP 'ETC' in 2014, where he includes 5 new original tracks and two of his most notorious remixes, signed by Modo Fractal and Ary (Blasted Mechanism).
