108 Sun Salutations
108 is an auspicious number with a special significance throughout a wide range of cultures. In many yoga traditions 108 sun salutations are done as an "offering", such as an offering of peace or unity. This class takes place at the time of the full moon and the coinciding lunar eclipse on 27 July. While the moon is darkened by the shadow of the Earth and re-emerges as it is hit by the rays of the sun, we do 108 Sun Salutations together in silence, guided only by the sound of our breaths. The energy of the sun, the earth and the moon aligned and our united movements and breathing will be a powerful experience manifesting the interdependence of humanity, nature and the universe. Isabella guides everyone through 108 sun salutation A. Participants don’t have to do all the 108, only as many as they want/can.
