Masha Kovacs fuses her skills in teaching Awareness Through Movement with her experience as a yoga teacher. She looks for creating a deep inner connection by using a blend of these disciplines to provide a heart-opening movement experience grounded in Awareness.
On a quest for Freedom through Awareness, her training encompasses Yoga, Meditation, the Feldenkrais Method and Embodied Life. All of these greatly influence her teaching.
Originally from Transylvania, she is now based in Portugal and offers yoga and discovery retreats in both these countries.
As part of the Feldenkrais Institute, she helps organize the international Feldenkrais Teacher Training in Portugal.

Feldenkrais Method- Awareness through Movement
Based on biomechanics and neurophysiology this method of somatic education is successfully used in many fields to help people move better and more effectively. Awareness Through Movement, one of the two modalities of the Feldenkrais Method (named after its founder Dr. Moshe Feldenkrais), uses clever, gentle movement sequences that are designed to help you change your body awareness and self-organization in a minimum amount of time.
The goal of the Feldenkrais Method is to bring about significant improvements in movement, posture, pain relief and in recovery from injuries.
All aspects of your being are improved, helping to move you towards achieving your maximum potential.
