Marek is certified in Thai Yoga Massage (by the Sunshine Network). He is also passionate about meditation and all forms of physical movement which he practices every day for many hours. With his massages he wishes to relax the muscles and the mind equally. He also wants to show people a path to improve their body posture so tensions (of the body as well as the mind) won't come up in the first place. Marek also likes experimental art, fresh fruits, and dancing to good music in the sun.
Thai Yoga Massage
Traditionally practiced in Buddhist monasteries, Thai massage is regarded above all as a spiritual practice, a meditation in movement. With the application of rhythmic pressure on certain energetic points and lines in the body and the yogic stretching of muscles and joint manipulation, blockages can be released and energy can be restored to its natural flow. The massage is on a mat on the floor, fully clothed in loose comfortable clothes, without oils and sometimes looks like applied hatha yoga. Because this massage is working on the different body layers (koshas) the release works on an emotional, energetic and physical level. The technique can be static (sinking deeply in a meditative state) or can move quite dynamically.
