After working for years as a craftsman, an architect, a designer and a company owner, in 2004 fascinating realm of bodywork opened its doors and  Stephan decided to become a bodyworker and Rolfer. Since then he helps his clients to find their way out of chronic tensions and to relate to their bodies in new ways. In 2014 he was certified as a heal practitioner (german = Heilpraktiker) and began studying shock trauma through the Somatic Experiencing® and developmental trauma through The NeuroAffective Relational Model, NARM®. In addition to his practice in München-Schwabing, in spring 2017 he opened his second practice in Berlin-Kreuzberg. Pendulating every month between the beautiful mountains of Bavaria and the fascinating metropolis Berlin provides a contrast which keeps his body-mind resilient, fresh and curious.

Rolfing® Structural Integration

Dancers, actors, athletes and yoginis come to Rolfing® session to improve their posture, their performance, and to become more connected to their body. Rolfing is hands on bodywork on the massage table. With manual deep tissue techniques  I loosen chronic tension in your fascia system. This kind of bodywork can be very intense and has a deep impact on your system. After the session you move much more freely, your posture becomes more upright, chronic pain diminishes, and your System can relax. As we Rolfers say: "You don’t need to fight against gravity anymore! Now; gravity becomes your friend!" Rolfing therapy is very helpful for people with orthopedic issues like neck pain, back pain, problems with knees, shoulder or lumbar discs, pelvic tension, scoliosis etc. - After the session your movements start to flow. Its is a sensation of moving like a jaguar or a cat.

Tension & Trauma Release Exercises  TRE®

TRE® is a simple yet innovative series of DIY exercises that assist the body in releasing deep muscular patterns of stress, tension and trauma. TRE safely activates a natural reflex mechanism of shaking or vibrating that releases muscular tension, calming down the nervous system. When this muscular shaking/vibrating mechanism is activated the body is encouraged to return back to a state of balance. For the nerve system the benefits are better sleep, less workplace stress, burnout prevention, reduced symptoms of PTSD and calm nerves. For the fascia and muscle system the benefits are, reduced back pain, neck pain, and reduced tensions in the joints. TRE is a very elegant method to relax the psoas muscle and to release tensions deep inside the pelvis and the lower spine. After the session you feel relaxed, grounded and full of life energy.
