Shankara, based in Ibiza (Spain) is SUP YogaPilates Institute’s Director and Founder.
She frequently travels to different countries to share her knowledge and passion for SUP YogaPilates. Shankara loves sharing her love for SUP & SUP YogaPilates through the Aloha spirit.
Shankara is a Stand-Up Paddle Surf (SUP) professional instructor by the Spanish federation of Surf and the International Organization of SUP, SUP Yoga instructor officially qualified in California (USA) and SUP YogaPilates teacher trainer.
From a very early age she developed a natural interest in everything holistic, Nature, dance and healthy living which led her to train professionally in various holistic disciplines in UK, USA & Spain. She is a qualified Yoga and Pilates Method instructor with a 14 years teaching experience both as an instructor and as a Pilates teacher trainer.
Shankara is also a specialist in Hawaiian Huna Philosophy, plus an Indian and Hawaiian Hula dancer.

SUP YogaPilates is a complete training fusion of Yoga, Pilates, and Stand Up Paddle Surf (SUP) that combines two great core workouts (Yoga & Pilates) on the Stand Up Paddle board in order to build strength, flexibility, and balance.
SUP YogaPilates allows you to enjoy the strength & grace of Pilates and the flexibility & spirituality of Yoga together with the calming & healing powers of the water.
Pilates core-based exercises on the SUP board enhance the engagement of the deep stabilizing muscles of the pelvis & spine. It also builds extra flexibility, muscle strength, and endurance in the legs, abdominals, arms, hips, and back. In addition, performing Yoga asanas on the board while floating on the water challenges, elongates and strengthens the body, as well as deepens the abilities to focus, center, and quiet the mind.
