FIGHT FOR YOUR DIGITAL RIGHTS! WHAT ARE DIGITAL RIGHTS AND WHY DO WE NEED TO CARE?

Digital rights are human rights in a digital environment. The talk will explore why your privacy is in danger, why debates with a name like net neutrality matters and what they are about and how a “remix culture” can be protected against legal and political threats.

But there are also other issues like the question who is policing content online and on facebook or youtube, and how to deal with decision-making from algorithms. Are we helpless in times of silicon valley giants or can we fight for a free world online?
