Collective action is the most constructive solution for re-shaping the social landscape. In order to tackle the issues that are harming not only the Sacred Earth and its biodiversity, but the Human species too, it is fundamental we join forces to bring forward new ideas and make every effort to proactively put them to use.
This is fundamental reason why last year we launched the NGO Django. It is a space where international NGOs, crews, groups, communities, or simply individuals, can present their actions, projects and initiatives that hold the seeds of change.
It also hosts the Eco Tech Hub, the space where individuals, startups, collectives or simply groups of enthusiasts can share their passion and know-how with the rest of the world. It serves as a space for these independents that have thought up ground-breaking environmental projects, yet lack a proper platform on which to promote them.
In this showroom, Boomers can meet the people behind organisations pushing for social change, whether it is through art, ecovillage projects, environmental activism or programs that work with several social contexts. Presentations will be given by the attending organisations, too.
Here, NGOs, associations, groups and individuals can share their vision of today’s world and pitch in to shift things around. Within the openness of the Boom experience, as both the individual and the collective consciousness blooms, it feels like actual change can be possible if we channel our energies into the right direction — and by this, we mean participative, crowd-sourced areas, where everyone can be an active contributor and make a difference.
Boomers can learn about eco-tech tools and projects that are still at the developmental stage, and can include fields such as permaculture, bio-construction, health and nutrition, water treatment solutions, urban and organic agriculture or renewable energies. As states of consciousness flourish during the Boom experience, it presents itself as the perfect opportunity to make known some of the latest - and finest new technologies, ideas, approaches and environmental projects.
Get interested, get inspired, learn about what’s out there and who’s doing what. Our mission continues even after Boom, when we get back to conventional reality.
Support the Change. BE the Change.
