Samadhi

An area dedicated to the art of meditation

This space was born in 2022 to host one of the most powerful and beautiful practices for spiritual and personal development: meditation.

Named Samadhi, the Sanskrit word, that John Daido Loori Roshi, a  Zen teacher, described as being, "a state of consciousness that lies beyond waking, dreaming, or deep sleep. It's a slowing down of our mental activity through single-pointed concentration."

In deepest samadhi, absorption is so complete that all sense of "self" disappears, subject and object are completely absorbed into each other.

Located on the far-end side of the Being Fields, and overlooking the lake, the Samadhi is a shaded space that provides a stunning view to its visitors. Sessions of different kinds of meditation take place during the festival's silence hours (18:00-21:00).

We invite you to connect deeper with yourself, turn your senses inward and discover the beautiness that lies within. May this space contribute to the happiness of all beings.

The program is continuously updated as we journey towards the festival dates.

(Please don't bring selfie sticks, mobile phones and national flags. They are not transcendental or psychedelic - just the opposite. They disrupt the flow of Here & Now and interfere with the state of Oneness.)
