Springtime Letter to the Boomers
Boom 2027 Guest Countries Revealed
The late spring weather is currently in full swing at Boomland, where we watch the sun dip spectacularly below the horizon each day and give thanks to the abundant, blooming nature that surrounds us.
Here at Boomland, our dedicated team channel their love and energy into working, nourishing, and ensuring the land is at its very best – ready and waiting for you to enjoy.
Our beautiful Being Gathering is just around the corner – an intimate coming together of live music, workshops, healing practices, and other transformative activities – and we simply can’t wait to see you there on 1 July. Find out more about Being Gathering here.
The countdown has also begun for Boom 2027. In 14 full moons' time, we will be welcoming you back to Boomland for our 30th birthday celebration. Boom festival emerged many full moons ago in a mystical forest, and has since evolved into a global celebration of psychedelic culture that takes place on the shores of our beautiful Boomland lake.
Ahead of Boom’s 16th edition on 18 to 25 July 2027, here are a few items to get excited about:

BOOM 2027 GUEST COUNTRIES ANNOUNCEMENT
To mark our 30-year milestone and celebrate the International Day for Dialogue Among Civilisations, we will be inviting not one, but 10 Guest Countries along to Boom next year. This is a very first for Boom, and just our way of saying thank you to the human mass that makes up our wonderful global Boom community.
There are a total of 500 free Guest Country tickets available for the 10 Guest Countries, on a first-come, first-served basis.
Our gratitude initiative welcomes two countries per continent: from Europe (Serbia and Georgia); two from Africa (South Africa and Mauritius); two from Asia (Taiwan and China); two from the Americas (Brazil and Peru); and two from Oceania (Australia and New Zealand).
Guest Country tickets will be available through your country’s Ambassadors network on 6 October. The full list of our worldwide Ambassadors will be available to view on the new Boom website in September 2026. Stay tuned to our channels for further information on this.
3 NOVELTIES FOR BOOM 2027
1. We are dedicated to keeping our lineups fresh and dynamic. This allows us to give a platform to new projects while retaining our support for established artists. At Boom 2027, 70% of projects performing on one of our four music stages will not have played in 2025.
2. We believe every generation has something unique and profound to offer the planet, while intergenerational collaboration makes the world go round. These days, many young, up-and-coming artists struggle to get their music heard, and yet are more than deserving of a place on the Boom programme.
With this in mind, we are allocating a number of slots on our Dance Temple, Alchemy Circle, the Gardens, and Sacred Fire stages to local and global artists under 30. The application process is our way of getting to know all the promising young talent out there. Info on how to apply will be posted on the Boom website at a later date.
3. New gates and access roads: We are focused on ensuring everything runs as smoothly as possible at Boom. Right now, we are working to improve the flow of people entering and exiting the Boomland site.
Not only will there be new gates at Boom 2027, intended to reduce queuing times and speed things up for you, but there will also be new access roads in and out of the site. Stay tuned for more info.
...
These are just some of the many positive items on our agenda for the coming year. As always, we will continue to share our progress along the way.
We can’t wait to keep growing with you. Let’s meet at Boomland.
