Spaceship Earth launched in 2023 to showcase sustainability and environmental practices at Boom.

Boomland is one big living regeneration project, built around permaculture and agroforestry principles that are part of everyday life here. Through our many eco-initiatives, we continue to preserve, create and regenerate the land every year. 

Lovingly nicknamed the "nerd headquarters", Spaceship Earth was inaugurated at Boom 2023 as a way of sharing what we do on the land aside from the festival. It's your chance to learn more about our regeneration programme and think about ways you can nurture a more eco-friendly life.

Interactive workshops, hands-on demonstrations, and informative talks that cover a wide range of topics, projects and initiatives, including the new wastewater treatment centre we created in 2020 and the Boomland School Natural Building Course, which resulted in the festival world's first-ever hemp-built female urinals.

We want to equip you with tools, tips and practical knowledge for sustainable living, empowering you to make positive changes. When it comes to living a more eco-friendly life, it only takes a little to change a lot.
