We're Living Through a Psychedelic Renaissance
The universe is set up for life, to allow consciousness to emerge.
The world trembles with ecological disruption, conflicts, and an epidemic of loneliness. Algorithms fuel "in-group vs. out-group" biases. Many feel more disconnected than ever: from nature, from community, and from themselves.
Separation is the greatest lie told to everyone. The illusion that we are separate from one another, divided by nation-state identities, or that we are a species existing apart from the natural system.
Yet we are currently living in a 'psychedelic renaissance': a multidimensional cultural shift; a resurgence of psychedelic art, the widespread awareness of psytrance through other music genres, findings in psychedelic science, major advancements in therapeutic and legal applications, and societal openness toward psychedelic culture and science.
On a deeper level it is about a fresh look into consciousness itself.
And on how we can reframe ourselves and our relationship with the world around us.
In a fragmented world, psychedelic culture can remind us of something ancient: that the human mind and heart are capable of perceiving unity where they once saw separation. They can sense interconnectedness: that the forests, oceans, and people around us are not separate from us, but expressions of the same living system.
Pathways to these insights are many: meditation, trance dance, contemplation, holotropic breathwork, rituals, fasting, rites of passage, sensory stimulation, flow states, psychedelic sound and visuals, and others.
These methods are mirrors through which we may glimpse new perspectives on who we are and how we might live together.
The real transformation begins afterwards. In how we treat one another. In how we care for the Earth.
Psychedelic Renaissance is how we build cultures rooted in wisdom and love.
Because We Are One.
