• You can only get a cardboard tent once you've secured your Boom Festival 2027 ticket. 

SPECIFICATIONS OF THE 2 PEOPLE TENT

• Made of 100% cardboard; 
• These are 220 cm (lenght) x 150 cm (width) x 112 cm (height);
• The door is 80 cm high;
• They stay watertight during your entire stay;
• They stay dark and cool in the morning so you can sleep longer;
• They have a double door which can be secured (or locked in an open position) and there is a ventilation hole in the back which can be opened for fresh air;
• They are fixed to the ground.

OPTIONAL: These tents can be equipped with a sleeping kit for two people, which includes two foam mattresses and two comfortable sleeping bags.

SPECIFICATIONS OF THE SLEEPING KIT

• The high density foam mattresses are 198 cm x 63 cm x 5 cm;
• The sleeping bag is designed for temperatures of 5°C for men and 8°C for women. They measure 230 cm x 80 cm.

• Check-in & Reception

On arrival you will find the Cardboard Village Reception, where you check in. During daytime at the festival, you will find a team available at the Reception who will guide you to your cardboard tent. If you booked with a sleeping kit this will already be in the cardboard tent for you.

If you have any questions, someone at Reception will be happy to help you.

• Checkout

If you have booked a cardboard tent with sleeping equipment, you need to check out.

If you have not booked any sleeping equipment, you do not need to check out but we require the tent to stay situated in the Cardboard Village when you leave. At the end of the festival you can either keep your cardbard tent or leave it behind at the Cardboard Village, where they will be collected, cut into pieces and given a new life.

1. Cardboard Village is operated by the commercial company “Kar Tent”, legal entity number 63196573, with registered office at Lemelerbergweg 63, 1101AW, Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

2. Without prejudice to the provisions of the following paragraph, the maximum capacity of the tents may not be exceeded, and it is not possible to add any extra mattresses.

3. Children up to 6 years of age may exceed the maximum capacity of the tent if they use the mattress of their accompanying persons. No additional mattresses or extra amenities will be provided.

4. Children must be permanently supervised by the person(s) holding the relevant parental or legal authority.

5. If a tent is not being used at its maximum capacity, the holder of the relevant reservation may bring guests until the maximum capacity is reached. 

6. Guests must check in at the reception.

7. Prior to checking in at the event, guests must complete the forms available on the Festival’s website, using the link for the purchase of accommodation services, and provide in said forms the requested information relating to all persons who will be staying in each tent.

8. Any sleeping amenities that have been previously rented will be provided upon check-in.

9. Upon check-out, such sleeping amenities must be returned in the same condition in which they were provided.

10. Sleeping amenities may not be removed from the tent or used for any other purpose.

11. An additional charge will be made if the mattresses or sleeping amenities are returned damaged.

12. Tent numbers will be assigned before the Festival begins.

13. The Event Promoter shall not be liable for any loss, theft or robbery occurring at Cardboard Village.

14. The use of fire, cooking stoves, candles or other flammable items is strictly prohibited at Cardboard Village.

15. Knives and/or other cutting objects are not permitted at Cardboard Village.

16. Hot water is not available at Cardboard Village.

17. Exchanges of Cardboard Village accommodation services are not permitted. Likewise, no refunds of the price of such services will be made.

18. In the event of cancellation of the event, the Boom Festival Terms and Conditions shall apply, with the necessary adaptations.

19. The purchase of Cardboard Village accommodation services constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

Why are your data collected and processed?

Your data is collected by Good Mood, Lda. to complete the purchase of a camping ticket through our online platform and will not be used for any other purpose.

If necessary, your data may also be processed to comply with legal obligations or legitimate interests of Good Mood, Lda., as well as to execute a certain contract.

And when it comes to minors’ data?

The processing of personal data of children under 16 years of age, in cases where consent is required, will only be lawful with consent given or authorised by the respective holders of parental responsibilities.

Good Mood, Lda. will keep your data for as long as necessary to fulfil the respective purpose for which it was collected.

Your data will be stored securely and access will be restricted to authorised people.

What can you do about the data you have provided?

At any time, you may contact Good Mood, Lda. or Kar Tent through the e-mail address dpo@boomfestival.org or info@kartent.com and may request access to your personal data, as well as the respective rectification, deletion, limitation, information, opposition or any other issue. You may also, when the data collection was based on your consent, communicate the revocation of that consent, which will not compromise the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of the previous consent.

Good Mood, Lda. may not proceed with the requested deletion, whenever the respective processing is still necessary for the respective purposes or for the fulfilment of a legal obligation or exercise of rights, in which case it will inform the data subject of the reasons for the impossibility of erasing them.

You may also file a complaint with the CNPD if you believe that your rights have been violated.

2. Sem prejuízo do disposto no número seguinte, não poderá ser excedida a capacidade máxima das tendas, não existindo a possibilidade de adicionar quaisquer colchões extra.

3. As crianças até 6 anos de idade podem exceder a capacidade máxima da tenda, caso utilizem o colchão dos acompanhantes. Não serão fornecidos colchões suplementares ou quaisquer comodidades extra.

4. As crianças deverão ser permanentemente supervisionadas por quem tenha o respetivo poder de representação.

5. Caso uma tenda não esteja a ser utilizada na sua capacidade máxima, poderá o respetivo titular da reserva trazer convidados até que essa capacidade máxima seja atingida.

6. Os hóspedes deverão fazer o check-in na recepção.

7. Previamente à realização do check-in no evento, deverão os hóspedes preencher os formulários disponíveis no site do Festival, usando o link para aquisição de serviços de alojamento, fazendo constar nos referidos formulários a informação solicitada, relativa a todas as pessoas que vão ficar hospedadas em cada tenda.

8. Os check-ins e check-outs devem ser feitos pelo comprador do bilhete Cardboard Village ou pelo titular da reserva.

9. As comodidades para dormir, que tenham sido previamente alugadas, serão entregues aquando do check-in.

10. No check-out, as mesmas comodidades para dormir deverão ser devolvidas nas condições em que foram entregues.

11. As comodidades para dormir não poderão ser retiradas da tenda, nem utilizadas para outros fins.

12. Será cobrado um custo extra se os colchões ou as comodidades para dormir forem entregues danificadas.

13. A numeração das tendas será feita antes do festival ter início.

14. O Promotor do evento não se responsabiliza por quaisquer perdas, furtos ou roubos ocorridos na Cardboard Village. 

15. É absolutamente proibido o uso de fogo, fogões de cozinha, velas ou outros itens inflamáveis no Cardboard Village.

16. Facas e/ou outros objetos de corte não são permitidos na Cardboard Village. 

17. Não há disponibilização de água quente na Cardboard Village.

18. Não são permitidas trocas dos serviços de alojamento da Cardboard Village. De igual modo, não serão feitos quaisquer reembolsos do preço desses serviços.-

19. Em caso de cancelamento do evento, aplicar-se-ão, com as devidas adaptações, Termos e Condições do Boom Festival.

20. A aquisição dos serviços de alojamento da Cardboard Village pressupõe a aceitação dos presentes termos e condições.

A Good Mood, Lda. poderá não proceder à eliminação solicitada, sempre que o respectivo tratamento se mostre ainda necessário para as respectivas finalidades ou para o cumprimento de obrigação legal ou exercício de direitos, caso em que informará o titular dos dados dos motivos da impossibilidade de eliminação dos mesmos.
