Plan Your Travel to Boom
How are you travelling to Boom?
There are several ways to get on the road to Boomland: a liftshare can be great for splitting travel costs; a bicycle can be an eco-friendly, adventurous option; the shuttle bus can ensure you start the festival as you mean to go on – making friends.
Check them out below.
Probably the most convenient way of getting to Boom. Simply get to your Boom Bus Stop, get on the bus and enjoy the luxury of getting transported straight to the festival.
It’s hassle-free, fun, cheap and prevents CO₂ emissions.
ECO FACTS 2025:
220 Boom Buses were available for use.
They transported 26% of all Boomers.
This reduction contributed to the prevention of further CO₂ emissions.

Belgian Boomers Joost and Stan helped to kickstart the Boom by Bike project when they got in touch to say they planned to cycle to the festival.
It took them 40 days to cycle 2,700 km to get here, telling us on arrival: “Everyone should do this!”
Inspired by their positivity and sense of adventure, we took their word for it and launched Boom by Bike in 2010. It became another aspect of the festival’s ethos to promote a more conscious, ecological and fun way to get here.
Over the last decade, we have had the honour of documenting and sharing the stories of countless Boomers who felt inspired to bike it here too.
In 2025, we were proud to welcome bikers to the Boom Bike Village for the fifth edition running.

More information about the Boom by Bike initiative will be released closer to the festival.
