Ticket Resale Platform

• Festival Access tickets can be acquired/resold from 12 June 2023 (Portuguese Continental Time);
   
• Boom Bus/Tipi Camp/Lizard Camp/Cardboard Village tickets can be purchased/resold from 12 June 2023 until 12 July 2023 at 23:59 (Portuguese Continental Time);
   
• Follow this link to access the Boom Festival Ticket Resale Platform.

• The platform remains open until 27 July at 12:00 Portuguese Continental time for festival ticket purchases. Know more;
   
• The Boom Festival Ticket Resale Platform closes on 12 July 2023 at 23:59 (Portuguese Continental Time) for services tickets (transport and accommodation);
   
• Please keep in mind that you will have fewer chances to resell your ticket if you place your ticket on the platform too close to the end date.

• In 2023 we are using the Weezevent Ticket Resale platform, which allows a fairer resale model;
   
• This model does not allow prices to be decreased or increased - thus festival tickets can only be resold at their original price;

ACQUIRING TICKET(S)

• When buying, you pay the ticket's original price, plus the original platform fees;
   
• Tickets available on the platform can only be sold at face value;
   
• Friendly tickets follow a different model, as they must be resold as Regular tickets. This is because Friendly tickets were only made available to people living in certain countries, and on the online ticket platform it is not possible to verify whether the person purchasing a Friendly ticket does in fact follow those criteria.

RESELLING TICKET(S)

• The platform charges a service fee (8% of the ticket value) to resell your ticket;
   
• During the resale process, you can see exactly how much you will receive if you resell your ticket. 

• If you are selling your ticket, you will receive the exact amount of the ticket which you paid, minus the platform fee; 
  • The original price of tickets is €275;
  • Upon reselling your ticket on the Ticket Resale Platform, you will receive €275 - 8% platform fee (in this case,€253).
     
• If you are purchasing a ticket, you will pay the original price of the ticket, plus the original platform fee.
   

• It is the ticket BUYER who owns the ticket. Therefore:
  • The ticket BUYER can always resell tickets;
  • The ticket BUYER receives an email (Subject: “Boom Festival 2023: Login Attempt Boomer Area”) which gives them access to the resale platform. From then on, they may either access the platform, or share the link;
  • This link is valid for 1 hour;
  • Once someone gets access to this link - and therefore to the platform - they may sell their ticket;
  • The value of the resell will be returned to the payment card used by the BUYER.
     
• Upon logging in to the platform, you will be asked:
  • To identify with the ticket HOLDER Boomer ID;
  • To insert the ticket HOLDER email address in order to access your tickets.

(Please note: in case you purchased your own ticket, you are both the Ticket Holder and Ticket Buyer).
 

• If you acquired services (Boom Bus/Tipi Camp/Lizard Camp/Cardboard Village) for Boom 2023, they automatically got associated with your Festival Access ticket;
   
• This means your Festival Access ticket and services are associated with your Boomer ID. Thus, there is no separate .pdf ticket for acquired services;
   
• You may sell your services but keep your festival ticket. 

Note that: reselling the festival ticket doesn't mean the services are refunded with it, you will have to resell the services, too.

• Yes, it is possible to ask for the exchange of your Boom Bus ticket (date and/or departure/arrival), as long as Boom Bus tickets are still available;
  • Access the Boomer Area with your email and Boomer ID;
  • Click on Boom Bus Exchange;
  • Confirm the submission for your Boom Bus Exchange.
     
• From that moment on, your Boomer ID will be cleared for the purchase of your new Boom Bus ticket, and you'll have seven days to do it;

• In case the Boom Bus ticket you're looking for is not available, please visit our Ticket Resale Platform;
   
• Please note that the availability of Boom Bus tickets depends on tickets returned through resells or until they are sold out;
   
• Keep in mind that the Ticket Resale Platform closes on 12 July;
   
• Once you complete the order, your original Boom Bus ticket will be cancelled, and the value will be returned to your account (minus fees). If in seven days you don't manage to book another roundtrip, your original Boom Bus ticket will become valid again.

We have a Friendly Price for people living in countries with specific economic realities. There are two possible scenarios for these specific tickets.

SCENARIO 1: Friendly Tickets paid via Ambassador link.

• If you wish to resell your Friendly ticket, you may do so. The procedure is the same as other tickets.

SCENARIO 2:  Friendly tickets purchased directly to an Ambassador, which were not paid through the ticketing platform. 

1. If you wish to resell your Friendly ticket, you may do so;
    
2. The procedure is different from other tickets;
    
3. You will have to fill a form with your bank account details to receive the reimbursement when your ticket is resold;
    
4. You will receive the form to insert your bank account details only after your ticket has been resold.

• You need to already have a Festival Access ticket to have a Boomer ID and follow the standard purchase procedure.

• Yes, there is. There is an 8% fee whenever you resell your ticket;
   
• During the resale process, you can see exactly how much you will receive if you resell your Boom festival ticket(s) and/or service(s).

• Yes, only if you are the ticket BUYER, you may resell all the tickets you purchased;
   
• If you have purchased multiple Festival Access tickets, then you also have multiple Boomer IDs. If you wish to resell all of your Festival Access tickets, you have to login in the platform with each of the Boomer IDs;
   
• Festival tickets and services tickets - like Boom Bus, Tipi Camp, Lizard Camp and Cardboard Village - can be placed for resale simultaneously.
   

• In case you remove your ticket from the resale platform, and decide to place it again afterwards, your ticket will no longer regain its original place in the queue;
   
• Instead, it will be placed as a ticket recently placed on the platform;
   
• This means it might take longer to get purchased by another Boomer.

• No, there is no need to register.
   

• The platform is operating in all countries.
   

• Yes, all parties involved in the process - reseller, buyer and ticket holder - always receive a final email with the purchasing or reselling information.

• It is not possible to change names on Boom Festival tickets and services. This is to ensure Boomers are protected from fraud schemes, black-market and price inflation;
   
• When reselling a ticket, that ticket and Boomer ID are cancelled and another one is generated;
   
• The newly generated ticket must be personalised during the purchase process, before payment;
   
• Boom Festival is a limited capacity event. If you cannot attend Boom 2023, please place your ticket on the Ticket Resale Platform to make it available to another Boomer.

• Because Friendly tickets were only made available to people living in certain countries, and on the online ticket platform it is not possible to verify whether the person purchasing a Friendly ticket does in fact follow those criteria;

• The money is transferred to the card used to originally purchase the ticket - meaning, to the BUYER’s payment card;
   
• If you purchased a Friendly ticket to an Ambassador without using the online platform, please check Question 8 to know more about reselling Friendly tickets on the Ticket Resale Platform.

• The Ticket Resale Platform is a third-party platform with which Boom Festival has partnered to facilitate ticket resale and purchase between Boomers;
   
• The timeframe within which payments will be made is between seven to 10 working days. 
   

• Yes. Boomers who wish to resell only their accommodation or transport services (Tipi Camp, Lizard Camp, Cardboard Village and Boom Bus ticket) can do so.

• Visa (Debit and Credit), Mastercard and Carte Bleue.
   

• No. To prevent black market sales and price inflation, private listings are disabled for all Boom Festival tickets and services.
